Library Food Drive... We CAN make a Difference!
The Library is participating in the
school-wide Food Drive for the
Parker Task Force.
We are collecting Shelf-Stable (non-perishable) food items
such as: canned, boxed, bagged items, and sealed (applesauce cups,fruit cups, ect) items.
Here is a list of what is requested.

Battle Of The Books!
Join this amazing club!
Battle of the Books is a
reading incentive program for third, fourth and fifth grade students organized
by the Douglas County Libraries. Participants are challenged to read 10
selected books and write BOTB questions. We meet Tuesday mornings at 7:45 am in
the school library. Come January, we ask the Parker Librarians to host our
school battles to determine which teams will represent our school in the Parker
inter-school battles at the Parker Library. Although it is a very intense and
competitive club, it is also a lot of FUN.
Parent Meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 am
This meeting is mandatory for new prospective
participants’ parents and prospective third grade participants’ parents.
Sign-ups begin on Friday, Sept. 13 – 19
