Battle Of the Books Is Finally Here!


 It’s Battle Of The Books Season

Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program for third, fourth and fifth grade students organized by the Douglas County Libraries. Participants are challenged to read 10 selected books in 3-4 months!!
That’s a lot of reading!
 We meet Tuesday mornings at 7:45 am in the school library.

Practice Schedule so far:
Sept. 24
Oct. 1,8,22,29
Nov. 5,12,26 ( no practice during book fair)
Dec. 3,10,17
Jan. TBA – Big School Battle
        
In January, the Parker Librarians host our school battles in the GRE library to determine which teams will represent our school in the Parker inter-school battles at the Parker Library. 
Schedule for those battles is determined in January. 
The season is from Jan. 27- March 9 with the District battle March 11.
